Overview
Many of the journal's readers would rather hear an answer than read one. The Training Specialist at The Kenswick Partners teaches the basics of work and money in live online workshops and short one-on-one calls: budgeting through an uneven first year, setting aside taxes on 1099 income, and reading a pay plan before you sign it.
Trainers, team leaders, teachers, and sales professionals who have led group sessions tend to do very well. This is education, not investment advice, and you will know where that line sits.
What You'll Do
- Lead live online workshops each week built on the journal's long reads and explainers
- Turn articles into clear talks with simple slides and worked examples
- Hold short one-on-one calls with readers who want help applying what they learned
- Run question periods with patience, and say plainly when a question needs a licensed professional
- Record short video explainers for the journal and its social channels
- Follow up with attendees by email and point them to the right article or next step
- Track attendance and common questions, and plan the session calendar with the editor
What We're Looking For
- Three or more years presenting, training, teaching, coaching, or leading group sales conversations
- A warm, confident speaking style on camera
- Comfort explaining money topics in everyday words
- A genuine interest in personal finance
- Organized habits and reliable follow-up
- Comfort with video meeting tools and simple slide software
- A quiet home office with a good camera, microphone, and dependable internet
- Eligible to work in the United States
